The problem isn't lack of data - it's that supply chains are complex, interconnected systems, and we've been trying to understand them with static, linear tools. A disruption in one region affects suppliers three tiers away. A commodity shortage in one industry ripples into another. Environmental risks, geopolitical instability, and social factors intersect in ways that traditional mapping can't capture.
With fifteen years of experience in environmental risk assessment, supply chain sustainability, and responsible sourcing & traceability for global brands, I'm pioneering the application of knowledge graphs and geospatial analytics to supply chain resilience - moving beyond linear traceability to capture the dynamic, interconnected nature of modern material flows.
I integrate a deep, science-based understanding of systems theory with the perspective of a practitioner. I have tackled these challenges as a regulator, a consultant and, perhaps most critically, from within the supply chain. I understand what supply chain leaders need to know, and what's been missing from the tools available to them.
